Opportunities

Are you interested in getting involved in the Botany Garden and Greenhouses? The easiest way to join our our team is by volunteering! We welcome UW students and community members as volunteers. We are open Monday- Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm; volunteer shifts take place during our open hours.

Volunteers work with our staff in the greenhouse and the garden (weather-permitting.) Volunteers have the opportunity to learn horticultural skills and become familiar with our large diverse teaching collections. Common tasks including repotting, greenhouse upkeep, weeding, mulching, planting and more. If you’re interested, please fill out the form below. Our staff will get in touch with you as soon as possible.

We occasionally have openings for UW-Madison student employment, internships, or research. Any current openings will be posted here.
