Botany Greenhouse fall term hours: M-F, 8am to 4pm

(Please enter the greenhouse through the front doors of Birge Hall & enter the Botany Garden on the far west side from the Chamberlain Hall sidewalk).

Undergraduate Semester Project Requests

For students who are instructed to contact the greenhouse to begin their semester long research project.

Tour Requests

For those interested in receiving a guided a tour of our lovely greenhouses. If you are a student or staff of UW, and do not want a guided tour, please come anytime during our opening hours M-F 8am to 4pm.

Plant Use and/or Service Requests

For teachers who need plants for class, teachers wishing to use the greenhouse or garden for class time, researchers needing greenhouse space, or help with their own plants.

Event Photography Permit

For those who wish to have a planned photo shoot in the greenhouses or the garden.

WPS Training Request

For those who need to obtain their first or renew their Worker Protection Safety (WPS) training for pesticide and greenhouse safety. If you are working, teaching, volunteering, or doing a research project that requires regular use of the Botany Greenhouse, this is required by state law and must be updated annually.
